Product Overview

The D4DB is the Hyundai D4-family 3.9L four-cylinder diesel platform built for Mighty-series commercial trucks, municipal cargo vehicles and short-haul shuttle buses. It uses a thick cast-iron cylinder block and cylinder head, dry replaceable cylinder liners, an inline four-cylinder long-stroke layout, a direct-injection combustion chamber, a gear/cam-driven valve train, a mechanical NB injection pump with all-speed governor, and a closed water-cooling system.
