S6S Complete 4.496L Mechanical Diesel Engine Assembly Water-Cooled Industrial Equipment Naturally Aspirated & Turbocharged for Forklifts and Excavators

S6S series is a classic industrial dedicated diesel engine developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, belonging to the mature SS platform together with the S4S four-cylinder model. It features an integrated thick cast iron cylinder block, gear-driven overhead valve train, and mechanical distributor fuel pump with pure mechanical governor - no electronic sensors or control modules required.

Two factory official aspiration configurations available for different load scenarios:

• Naturally Aspirated S6S Base Version: Simple non-turbo layout with fewer wearing parts, ultra-low daily maintenance cost, stable linear low-speed torque. Perfect for daily forklift cargo handling, light-duty generator sets, and mobile water pump units.
• Turbocharged S6S-DT High Power Version: Factory matched fixed geometry turbocharger, reinforced forged piston & connecting rod assembly, larger intake air volume, stronger climbing & heavy-load capacity. Dedicated for full-load heavy forklifts, medium excavators, and continuous-duty air compressor equipment.

Two combustion chamber types optional: direct injection for high fuel efficiency, or swirl chamber for excellent cold start performance in low-temperature areas. Six-cylinder layout provides outstanding running smoothness and low vibration. Low noise design meets urban construction & warehouse environmental requirements with strong tolerance to low-grade diesel fuel.
