Product Overview

KTA19-G4 belongs to the classic Cummins K-series heavy-duty G-Drive generator engine. It features an ultra-thick alloy cast iron cylinder block, independent one-cylinder-one-head design, replaceable wet cylinder liners for easy maintenance, four valves per cylinder layout, and STC step timing control system to optimize fuel combustion under variable load and ambient temperature.

Equipped with original PT mechanical injection pump and independent electronic speed governor, matched with fixed geometry turbocharger and large capacity water-air aftercooler. Denser intake air improves power output and reduces black smoke emission.

Factory Optimized Configurations

Land Standard Generator Version: Closed circulation JWAC radiator cooling package, heavy-duty shock-resistant mounting feet, genset exclusive constant speed calibration (1500RPM/50Hz, 1800RPM/60Hz), stable frequency fluctuation within ±0.25%. Perfect for prime power station, mining backup power, construction mobile silent generator set.
Marine Auxiliary Generator Modified Version: Anti-corrosion seawater heat exchanger, marine insulated wiring harness, corrosion-resistant cooling circuit, certified for ship auxiliary power unit. Cannot match land radiator genset chassis.

Full mechanical fuel core without complex ECM electronic control unit ensures extremely low failure rate under high dust, high temperature and unstable fuel quality environment. Strong adaptability to low-grade diesel fuel, widely used as aftermarket replacement power for large generator sets across Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America markets.

Important Notice: Two completely non-interchangeable KTA19-G4 dedicated variants on market:

Land standard genset version: Large air-cooled radiator matching bracket, heavy-duty land mounting feet, land cooling circuit without anti-corrosion seawater parts, exclusive land constant speed fuel mapping. Cannot install on marine vessel.
Marine auxiliary modified version: Seawater heat exchanger, marine insulated wiring, anti-rust cooling pipeline, special marine exhaust elbow. Incompatible with land radiator generator frame.

Critical distinction with electronic QSM11-G generator engine: QSM11 adopts full electronic Celect injection system, smaller 10.8L displacement, light-duty structure for medium power station. KTA19-G4 is 18.9L large-displacement mechanical PT pump heavy-duty genset engine with different cylinder block, fuel system, cooling layout and flywheel housing. Fully non-interchangeable chassis swap.
