Details of the five taboos for the use of turbocharged vehicles are as follows:
1. Avoid cold cars starting not hot cars. Turbocharged engines require hot cars more than naturally aspirated engines. After the car engine is started, you cannot press the acceleration pedal sharply, and you should idle for three minutes.
2. Avoid idling time for too long. 3, do not clean the turbine. When using turbocharged models, special attention should be paid to replacing the oil filter and air filter in time to keep the turbine clean.
4. Avoid using inferior engine oil. Turbine speed is usually as high as 150,000 rpm or more, if the oil is not used properly, it is easy to affect the life of the turbine, so be sure to choose the manufacturer's designated or higher quality fully synthetic oil, the turbocharger and engine to provide good lubriion, thereby reducing friction, reduce wear.
5. Do not turn off the ignition immediately after stopping. Especially after a long period of high-speed operation, if the engine is suddenly stopped in the hot state, it will cause the oil stuck in the turbocharger to overheat and damage the bearings and shafts, so it is necessary to idle for one or two minutes before turning off.
